Yoga & Tea: A Harmony of Body, Mind, and Spirit
The event began with a gentle yoga session, allowing everyone to stretch their bodies, regulate their breath, and gradually settle their minds. Following this, we transitioned into the tea ceremony. Through observing the tea leaves, listening to the sound of water flowing, and tasting the flavors of the tea, we immersed our senses fully in the present moment. Many participants expressed that this unique combination helped them focus on the present. Yoga opened their bodies, while tea brought a deep sense of relaxation to their minds. One participant shared, “As I sipped the tea, my thoughts became clearer, and I felt a rare sense of tranquility.”
During this gathering, we tasted Longjing green tea(龙井绿茶), Liubao dark tea(六堡黑茶), and Baihua Kui black tea(白花魁红茶)—each offering a distinct flavor and effect. Green tea provided a refreshing vitality, dark tea was rich and warming, perfect for relaxation after yoga, while Baihua Kui red tea, with its enchanting floral aroma, brought a delightful sense of surprise and joy.
