There’s a saying in Fujian: “One-year-old tea for drinking, three-year-old tea for medicine, seven-year-old tea as a treasure.” Many families keep aged white tea at home. When someone catches a cold, brewing a bit of aged white tea can induce sweat and often help recover quickly. Tea carries both sensory enjoyment and the wisdom passed down through generations.
